My Learning Experience English looked Like A Nightmare

This is real. This is very true. This is so right from my deepest thinking. My experience for learning English at senior high school looked like a nightmare.  My teacher used a method that was very scary. So that it made me very lazy to learn it seriously. Many factors were who didn’t support me to be master on the lesson. The first factor was I didn’t have passion of  English lesson.  The second only had little times to learn it. At Every week was just two hours my chance to learn it at school. The third factor was environment. The environment didn’t support me to make a conducive condition to learn it more because I had the other lessons which must be learned also. The fourth factor was I didn’t follow English course because I didn’t have much money. Then all my sisters were not master on the lesson, as well as my parents and my best friends. So I didn’t have the other ways to improve and repair my English skill.

After those factors were my teacher’s method looked so scary. Especially for me who couldn’t English well. Every student who could not speak English well would give a punishment thats so shame. The punishment was they would ask to stand up in front of their friends, in front of the class. I think it will make the students feel down. It’s not the best way to repair their students skill.

And then my teacher was only focus on development her all smartest students. The evidence was when the remedial test came to every student who gave bad score, my teacher didn’t give us the right answer or some study guidance. So how to their students know what the right answer was, what were the best ways to understand how to fill the question with use the right answer?

It will be possible to be master by read some English’s books or learn with her smart friends. But I guess those are not the best way.  Learning English without have much times to practice it, it’s like fly without have no definite direction. It will make us hesitate that what we have learned are right or no. Without have an amazing teacher and have no much times to practice English, I think it’s not effective to be master of  English. According to me to get an  effective learn English are have a teacher who have brilliant methods of teaching,  always practice every time,  and the last have a very supporting environment on learning process. With practice makes all skills of English be perfect. Keep on learning everybody. 

Why Writing Function Is Crucial For Colleger

Writing is the main job for a colleger. Everyday writing job always do and has never been absent. But unfortunately there are not many collegers know that not only reading that has crucial functions, but also writing. The function of writing does not look so crucial, but in the fact, it has functions that are so crucial.

            Writing is not an easy job when you have been a colleger. Especially for colleger who have to write thesis. But the job will be easier when you understand that there will be a lot of advantages that you will get after do it. If you really understand all of why writing function is crucial for all of collegers, certainly you will be love writing job. Now in the next paragraphs, I will write it, so that you will be realize that writing is amazing job that will make your brain full of knowledges if you make it is your passion and habitual.

Why writing function is crucial for colleger? There are several reasons for this. The chief reason is writing has many crucial functions without realizing it. Another reason is we can memorize many things that we have read. Without writing we will be easy to forget what we have read. My lecture once said that in developing countries many people can produce the extra ordinary products such as modern technology, book, building, transportation, etc, just the first step is often writing. A further reason is just by writing your mind can develop, because writing needs big concentration and much knowledge. Therefore reason is you can be a brilliant person with your amazing masterpiece. The last reason is you can capture your writing. So that in the future your writing still documented well and it can be read by people in whole world.

Now eventually based on the text above, you have known all about the crucial functions of writing. Then how it works? Don’t worry, very simple to do that. Firstly, you have to prepare what you need to work it. You should prepare all the materials to make it works, such as pencil, pen, laptop, paper, notes, etc.

The next step is you have to know when it works. Unfortunately most colleger does it just when they are studying, working, and going online. Whereas still many things which are more useful than just doing the activities. You can write the things that give many advantages to people, for examples are when you want to make a summary from books that have you read, make a master piece, make a book, make an amazing blog, etc. After that where it works? You can work it whenever you are. At home, university, bedroom, those places are not problem. The important thing is you should do it in your most comfortable place. Because when you feel comfortable usually you will do it well.

So now you can understand all about the crucial things of writing function for colleger. What it is used for, why it works, how it works, when it works, where it works. Many amazing advantages that will you get by writing “Are you interested in do such activity?” Come on guys try to do that, you should try to do that if you want to feel the advantages of writing. The last words I say, “Keep on writing!”

Summary "Billy and Maya’s Detective Agency"

READING 2

        Billy and Maya are best friends. They are in the same class at school and run a detective agency together. The detective agency’s name is Billy and Maya’s Detective Agency. They have an office in Maya’s basement. That is where they keep everything they need for their detective. Billy and Maya’s parents know each other too, and now they have gone away together for a few days. They will not be home again until after Christmas. Billy and Maya did not want to go. They more chose to keep their agency than follow their parents to go on Christmas.

       In the end, their parents agreed to let them stay at home. They would get their presents after Christmas, when their parents came home again. Billy and Maya would stay with Billy’s uncle. His name is Uncle Lester. He works at the Valleby Hotel. He invites them to help him to keep his hotel. Then they agree with that offering. Billy and Maya are so wish that they will find new cases in the Valleby Hotel.

       The first day they work, the manager explains them about all the staffs who work in here, Christmas Day, and the last about the new family that is coming to stay at this hotel in Manager’s office. He introduces everythings one by one on Billy and Maya.

1.    I myself. My name is Johnny Hazelwood. I am as manager. (My age is 50 years old. I have a bald head and long sideburns).

2.    Uncle Lester. He is one of staff in here. (He is Billy’s Uncle).

3.    Frank Fowler. He works in reception. (Billy and Maya do not like him, because he is rude to everyone. Billy’s uncle says that Frank Fowler never married because no women would ever want a husband who never smiled and he only interest in stamp collection).

4.    Rita Korpela. He works as Chef. (She is beautiful face and is always smiling. She comes from Finland and is a chef. Many people said that Johnny Hazelwood is in love with her. Rita dreams about opening a restaurant in France. But she does not have enough money. So she spends all her wages on lottery tickets and horse races. She is trying win the jackpot)

5.    The last is Pierre Chaloppes. He works as cleaner. (He has dark haired and Gloomy. He does not say much).

         Then the manager says that our annual Christmas Dinner Day. This is what we will do. That’s your first job to prepare the event in here. All staffs prepare everything about the Christmas day. Maya help Rita to make the big gingerbread house in reception. Frank fowler will be Santa Claus. Not only Christmas day, but also tomorrow will be a special day for the Valleby Hotel. The Gravenstein family will stay in here for a few weeks. They have booked our finest suite.

        Before The Gravenstein family will stay in the Vallabey Hotel. He calls the manager to book the finest suite. Then he introduces his family one by one and explains everything that he want when he will stay in here. (Mr Gravenstein, his wife and their little daughter Ida are coming to stay. They also have a little dog called Fuji. Mr Gravenstein says that the dog must be treated with respect. If he gets upset he will refuse to eat. He is very rare and expensive dog and you must make him feel at home). So the manager looks so serious to prepare the finest suite perfectly.

     Well, then, that is all I have to say. This meeting finish. Then the staffs go back to their Christmas preparation.

       This day is Christmas. It is a beautiful winter’s day. Everybody in hotel looks so happy to celebrate this moment. At is 12 o’clock midday and the Gravenstein family has arrived. The staffs come down to reception to welcome them. And then everybody is celebrating Christmas day happily.

       The next day Mrs Gravenstein is screaming, because their little dog has disappeared. Billy and Maya have not succeeded to find it. After that, Mr Gravenstein demand compensation on the manager. Our little darling is probably gone forever. We will leave this hotel in the morning. Luck for you. We will not go to the police. But we will definitely not pay for our hotel room. Then the manager agrees on him.

       However Billy and Maya smell something that strange on the Gravenstein Family. Billy and Maya keep investigating the case. They are thinking. They guess, the dog has stolen by staffs, because they know that the price of the dog so expensive, and then they needs much money to their respective needs. Then every staffs knows that the main key, the key to all rooms, hangs in the cupboard behind reception.

      Maya and Bill keep investigating the case. Bill says to Maya “There is something familiar about the Gravenstein family”. Maya answers “Of course, I agree. Billy I have got an idea. Follow me now”.

      Afterwards Billy follows Maya. They slip silently through the dark hotel. They go to the Manager’s office. Maya goes to the desk. She sees the Manager’s computer. Maya turns it on. She clicks the symbol for the internet. “We can search for clues on the internet. There are millions of pages about everything. We must be able to find something”, says Maya. “Good idea”, says Billy.

     The next step is they type that also contain the word “Family” on the internet. Finally they found its article. Now they know who they are. A family that has lost its dog on several occasions at various luxury hotels around the world (Paris, New York, London). It seems the family often moves from one luxury hotel to another and takes a new name in each place. When it is time to pay the bill, their dog disappears. The Gravenstein family always does the same thing in every time.

     The families in room 13 are swindlers. And now their secret is revealed. The last step is Billy and Maya think “How to trap the family?” Eventually they already have known what they will do tomorrow.

     In this morning the Gravenstein family will leave this hotel. Around 9 o’clock. The manager comes down the stairs. His steps are heavy. He did not get much sleep last night. Maya and Billy immediately are meeting him, and explain everything about the family. The manager looks very overjoyed after hear it. “They have saved my hotel. I will ring the police”, says the manager.

     Soon after, the Gravenstein family comes into the lobby. Mr Gravenstein is carrying a red suitcase. Billy and Uncle Lester help them to bring the other their bags down from Room 13. The manager welcomes them. Then he gives the Gravenstein family an urgent letter.

 Mr Gravenstein opens the letter. He looks so shock when he read the letter. The letter contains are:

Mr McIntosh... ?, or Gravenstein...?, or Cox...? , or Braeburn...?

            We have read all about you and your family in the paper. YOU ARE SWINDLERS !!!

            And now you have tricked your last Hotel Manager. Your “Valuable” dog is probably lying somewhere in your luggage

         After that Maya and All the staffs check their suitcase. Finally they can find the dog. The manager calls the police as he leads the Gravenstein family away from the Vallabey Hotel. Eventually the case can solve by Billy and Maya’s Detective agency.

I Found The Key In The Darkness

A few days ago my lecturer gave me a task. He asked me to make a fairytale. After heard it a few days later, I felt my breath had stopped. Then Fearful came into my mind. As though, I was in the darkness. Then I didn’t know, where the way out was. I felt locked up in there, no one who present to help me. Crying, that was what I did at the time. I wished a fairy present from this darkness and then she helped me to find the way out. My mind was keep developing. Afterwards I heard sound that so loud. I guess, it was a fairy who gave me the key to go out from here, but it was big wrong. It was just alarm of my hand phone that usually rings to wake me up. When I had woken up, I realized it was just a dream with the happy ending.

Annoyed, it was how I felt when I was getting the dream. Hopefully that dream will be real. A fairy who came in front of me and then she gave me the key, so that I could go out from the darkness. Unfortunately, that was a dream, I must open my eyes. Then I had to finish my task as soon as possible, I should not be delay my task again, although it was so difficult, because I seldom read a fairytale, so that I thought I would get many problems when I would try to do the task. Then it was my first experience to make it with using English. On the moment, it made me so worried until I got the nightmare. I was so grateful, because my best friend wants to help me a lot when I was getting some problems in the case to fix all my ideas. Finally a few days later I could fix it. That dream was real. I found the key so that I could begin to do this task. Unfortunately my difficulties didn't stop until there.

            My difficulties continued because my lecturer suggested me to make pre-writing, before you began to make a story. It meant I had to make brainstorming and focused questions. I thought pre-writing just made me so confused, because when I writing my ideas, it always flowing, developing, and present when I writing it in one by one sentence, my ideas present gradually, so that I have never made  pre-writing. I guess my ways to make a story for now, it is so different with the other people, but I don’t know, yeah it is my comfort ways.

In this task, I decided not to use pre-writing. I am still use my ways when I make a story. After all my ideas have been ready, I stay in my bedroom. I usually stay in the place, when I do all my homework, because it is the most my comfortable place. In there I always feel relax. Before begin to write it, first I always prepare all my materials to support my homework, such as laptop, modem, and grammar’s book. I have never forgotten to prepare it before I begin to do all my English homework. Without it, I can’t do anything, because my English skill is still low, so that I have to use it. After that, I began to write all my ideas in my document word and then I save it in my laptop. That is the ways that I do before I will begin to write my ideas in paragraphs.

The next steps were I had to develop it in paragraphs. I thought, the steps were the most confusing steps, because on those steps I often getting difficulties to write it. I kept think how the ways to develop it. When I am getting the condition, I usually stop write. I take some times to take a rest my brain. I usually listening music western and then I sing some songs, and the other things that usually I do are ablution and then I pray, or I go to sleep, or I eat some foods. After I do one of the ways, I usually immediately get many ways to write it in paragraphs.

            The first step was I had to understand what the genre of text that I would use. For examples, on this moment I was getting narrative text, so that I had to understand all the requirements in narrative text. I meant it would be helpful to do the next steps. Afterwards, I had to use the generic structure such as orientation, complication, and resolution. Then I had to use simple past tense, because the text told about past events. The Next I had to make the purpose to entertain the reader. After I understood all about the requirements of narrative text, I had been ready to begin write all my ideas in paragraphs.

The first paragraph I had to write all the parts of orientation. It meant to introduce all the participants in a story such as the characters, the times, and the settings. I explained so detail about it, so that the reader will can understand the beginning of my story before I began to the crisis. Then the next paragraphs I had to write all the parts of complication. It meant to begin raise the crisis. After that, the last step I had to write all the parts of resolution. It meant to solve the crisis.

Before that, I read it slowly. I checked all the grammar in my story, such as, tenses, preposition, conjunction, adverb of time, adverb of place, etc. After I thought I didn't find mistakes, and then I printed it, but the workmanship is not that easy to walk. In the workmanship process I found many challenges, when I done it my sister often bothers me. I’m the youngest child in my family, so that my sister often does that. Then my friends often sent me messages, they asked about grammar. And then my mother often asks me to keep my mother’s shop. Therefore I always do all my homework, after pray Isya, and after I close the shop. Exactly at 8 pm, I always do my tasks.

Eventually after I done all the steps, I published it on my blog. Hopefully my story will bring useful to many people, although my story is not too perfect. Finally, I could finish my task on time. I found the keys to finish my task that so difficult. The darkness was finally disappearing. 

Peranan Pendidikan Pada Abad ke-21

Pertanyaan yang selalu membelit saya setiap harinya ini akhirnya dapat terjawab. Pertanyaan yang  telah lama hadir dalam memori ingatan jangka panjang saya ini akhirnya dapat terpecahkan melalui sebuah buku yang berjudul Accelerated Learning For The 21^st Century, karya Malcolm J. Nicholl. Pertanyaan saya yang hadir sejak dulu adalah apakah peranan pendidikan sangat berpengaruh bagi sektor perekonomian negara kita? Merujuk pada fakta yang ada bahwa gelar sarjana pun tak cukup mampu untuk dijadikan sebagai mata pencaharian berskala panjang. Pada kenyataannya di negara kita ini cukup banyak jumlah sarjana yang berujung pada pengangguran. Lantas apakah peranan pendidikan dapat berpengaruh cukup signifikan dalam perbaikan nasib kehidupan bangsa pada abad ke-21 ini?

Saya temukan semua jawaban itu dalam buku ini. Dalam buku ini dijelaskan secara rinci mengapa peran pendidikan terasa begitu penting bagi suatu bangsa.

Pada tanggal 14 Mei 1997, seorang Ratu Inggris berpidato di depan parlemen. Pidato tersebut berisi:

“Prioritas Utama pemerintah sekarang adalah pendidikan. Pemerintah berusaha keras meningkatkan standar pendidikan di Sekolah dan Perguruan Tinggi, serta berupaya menggalakkan program belajar terus menerus di tempat kerja.

            Selanjutnya ada lagi pidato yang dibawakan oleh pemerintah partai buruh di bawah pimpinan Perdana Menteri Tony Blair, beliau berpidato dikarenakan beliau sedang mengkampanyekan program politiknya. Beliau mengatakan bahwa tiga prioritas utama pemerintah Inggris saat ini adalah “Pendidikan, Pendidikan, Pendidikan”.

            Perdana Menteri Tony Blair yakin bahwa komitmennya itu akan membuat bangsa Inggris bisa bersaing dengan bangsa-bangsa lain untuk meghadapi tantangan abad ke-21 ini. Kebijakan itu juga sesuai dengan deklarasi pemerintahan Bill Clinton di Amerika Serikat yang juga memfokuskan program politiknya pada sistem pendidikan.

            Komitmen berupa pentingnya pendidikan itu dapat menghantarkan Perdana Menteri Tony Blair dalam memenangi pemilu di Inggris. Semua rakyat inggris pun begitu antusias dalam program belajar sepanjang hayat ini, sebab belajar harus dimulai sedini mungkin dan tidak akan berhenti sampai manusia meninggal dunia.

            Kemudian kita dapat melihat contoh-contoh real-nya bahwa mengapa peranan pendidikan ini terkesan begitu penting.

Para pakar sependapat bahwa pekerjaan yang paling bernilai di masa depan adalah para pekerja otak yang memiliki bakat yang besar dan terlatih. Apakah benar begitu?

Contohnya:

Pekerjaan yang berulang dan mekanis akan diambil alih oleh mesin-mesin yang dikendalikan komputer, atau diekspor ke negara-negara berpenduduk padat dimana penduduknya dipersiapkan untuk bekerja dengan upah rendah dan dimana pemerintahannya menawarkan insentif-insentif besar bagi dunia bisnis. Itu hanyalah contoh kecil untuk menunjukkan bahwa sedikit sekali lapangan pekerjaan yang tersedia bagi orang yang berpendidikan rendah.

Sekalipun anda mempunyai suatu “Pekerjaan otak”, pendidikan tetap harus menjadi perhatian dan kepedulian utama anda. Jika seluruh standar pendidikan bangsa kita tidak mengalami peningkatan pesat, anda akan dikenai pajak lebih tinggi, output perekonomian nasional yang rendah, dan biaya kekacauan social yang tinggi.

Capaian pendidikan yang rendah, keterampilan analitis dan keterampilan pengambilan keputusan yang parah akan mengantarkan kita kepada ketergantungan ekonomi. Anda akan mengalami pajak yang lebih tinggi di masa mendatang karena sebuah bangsa yang sebagian besar penduduknya tidak dapat berfungsi dalam sebuah dunia yang berteknologi tinggi akan berarti kerugian besar akibat angka pengangguran tinggi, biaya kesejahteraan yang tinggi, dan ongkos pengendalian kejahatan yang tinggi, sebab ada korelasi besar antara pendidikan dan kesehatan. Banyak penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang yang berpendidikan tinggi pada umumnya sehat dan berumur lebih panjang.

Lihatlah sisi positif. Kekayaan bangsa kita adalah hasil dari kualitas otak penduduknya, kreativitas, dan keterampilan.  Dengan kata lain, aset terbaik kita adalah kemampuan kolektif kita untuk belajar cepat dan beradaptasi secara cerdas terhadap situasi yang tidak dapat diramalkan.

Pada masa yang berubah sangat cepat seperti sekarang ini, keterampilan super seperti yang tersebut di atas yang mampu membuat kita tidak akan menganggur pada abad ke-21 ini. Selanjutnya setelah menelaah contoh wacana sebelumnya, anda perlu bertanya kepada diri anda sendiri, akan menjadi apakah anda di masa depan nanti? Apakah anda sudah siap menghadapi masa depan yang terus berkembang seperti sekarang ini? Apakah anda dapat bertahan hidup di era abad ke-21 ini?

Kuncinya hanya satu. Menurut Daniel Burns, penulis Techno Trends 24 Technologies That Will Revolutionize Our Lives, menekankan bahwa “Masa depan adalah milik mereka yang mampu untuk terus berlatih dan belajar”

Belajar bukan hanya mengetahui jawaban-jawaban. Juga bukan hanya mengetahui serpihan dan penggalan dari suatu batang tubuh pengetahuan. Belajar tidak hanya diukur dengan indeks prestasi dan nilai ujian semata. Belajar bukan hanya aktivitas menuliskan di atas papan tulis apa yang diketahui orang lain.

Belajar adalah petualangan seumur hidup, perjalanan eksplorasi tanpa akhir untuk menciptakan pemahaman personal kita sendiri. Petualangan itu haruslah melibatkan kemampuan untuk terus-menerus menganalisis dan meningkatkan cara anda belajar. Belajar harus dimulai jauh sebelum hari pertama masuk sekolah seorang anak dan terus berlangsung seumur hidupnya. Kita tidak boleh berhenti belajar dan mengimplementasikan apa yang telah kita pelajari.

Merujuk pada kesimpulan dari segala pertanyaan saya yang telah dibantu oleh buku yang berjudul Accelerated Learning For The 21^st Century ini adalah yang terpenting bukan membangun perangkat kerasnya, melainkan yang terpenting adalah meningkatkan kualitas otak SDM-nya. Tentunya kualitas SDM akan dapat terus meningkat jika dibarengi dengan investasi pendidikan yang terus dilakukan sepanjang hayat. Kesimpulan terakhir saya sependapat dengan Bill Gates, pendiri perusahaan Microsoft, dalam bukunya The Road Ahead, mengatakan bahwa, “Dalam dunia yang berubah, pendidikan adalah modal utama bagi seseorang agar bisa beradaptasi”.

The Wolf Prince and The Ugly Princess

I felt, I was the most miserable person in the castle. I had separated from you. Did you know? You were the girl who the most I loved. I was still hope that, one day I will meet you, although it might not happen, because now I had changed into a wolf. At this moment, I lived away from the castle. I lived in the forest. The location of that forest is so far from where I lived. I felt sad when every time I remembered the incident a year ago.

At that moment I dared to go to the castle, but unfortunately everybody in there, did not recognize me. They threw me with the stones, and then they evicted me. Now my body that likes this, surely no one could not recognize me. The only one people who I expected to can recognize me were her. Her name was the girl riding hood. Everybody called her with that name, because she always wore a red riding cloak whenever she went out. She was the girl who the most I loved. Where was she? Why in the castle, I could not find her?

All this happened induced by my stepmother. She seized my royal throne with the sneaky ways. He killed all of the people who I loved. My mother, my father, my grandmother, they disappeared without the traces. Then she had bewitched me into a wolf. And then it also might, the loss of the girl red riding hood caused by her. She was the cruelest person in the castle.

In this forest was a place that made me comfortable. In here I met with many new friends, although they were not human. They were animal. They had liked my family. I felt this forest had liked my castle. There are, the plenty of fruit to eat, the beautiful trees, the river that flows very clear, the comfortable cave for me to sleep. The cool breeze blowing, it can make me fast to sleep. Moreover when the sun rises and sets, the flock of birds always flies, it passed on the air, and then it made wonderful formation and a melodious sound. The views of this forest, I thought, it's the most amazing views that I had ever seen.

Someday when I had finished helping a herd of rabbits to make their home, after that I immediately went back to my cave home. After I had arrived at my cave home, I slept. When I was sleeping deeply, suddenly I heard a human voice crying. After that I immediately woke up to find the source sound. I shocked that there is a human dare came to this forest. She was a woman. She wore a red riding cloak and her face looked so scary.

I met her and then I asked her.

“Who were you? Why were you here? And why were you crying?” said the wolf

“Introduce me, my name was riding hood. I came here because of all the people who I cared had not recognized me anymore. My face had changed so scary like this, because the queen had bewitched me”

After heard it, I became so shocked. She was a human, she could respond my questions, although my body was still wolf shape. When I was being silent because, I was thinking about her. She realized me with touched my head.

“Why were you being silent? What were you same like the people who lived in the castle? They were so scary, when they saw me. So that they did not want to meet me”

“Absolutely, it was not. I wonder why you could respond my voice. You were a human and I was a wolf. We were different. Who were you? What did the causes your face to be like this?”

“When I was a child until now, I had advantage. The advantage was I can talk with animal. And the cause that had made my face looked like this is a queen who lived at the castle. She bewitched me be ugly. So that everybody had not recognized me anymore. After that I was feeling sad, and then I decided to go to this forest”

The wolf shocked, he was still wondering. Is it true like his expected? That the ugly girl, who in front of him now, she is the girl riding hood who he loved. The wolf could conclude it because what did she tell, looked a lot like with all the characters and advantage that had by my the girl riding hood. Her name was same, her cloak was also same. After The wolf was thinking for so long, and then he asked for her.

“Was before your face ugly like this, you were a princess?”

“Yes, it was true. Where did you know?”

The wolf did not answer that question, and he asked again to her.

“What was it true, your name is the girl riding hood?”

“Yes, it was true, Why did you keep gave me many questions?”

              And then the wolf explained it

“Did you know? I was a prince who lived in the castle, but for now I had not lived in there anymore, because the queen had bewitched me became a wolf”

“Really, what did you said? What was it true?”

“Of course, it was true”

After heard it, the girl riding hood was crying, and she said on him

“Eventually, I could find you. I was so happy”

My Foreign World

My respones in an article with the title is "Barbara can't write"

            This is my first assignment in my second semester to write with using English language. I don’t know, I must be happy or not, because at this time I was feeling my skill about English still low. But I’m not going give up. I had chosen this department, so I must be responsible of this. I don’t want to make my family to be disappointed with what I had chosen. Okay keep spirit you can do it. I hope my essay can make you inspired. The last I say, Happy Reading.

            Last year when I was graduated from my senior high school, and then I continued my studies at Cirebon with department English education. Do you know? When I was child until now, I’m very hate English language lesson, because for me, it’s the most difficult lesson. Why I had chosen it, because I had no other choice. I had chosen it because I didn't accepted at the university that I want. When I was getting a failure, my old sisters asked me to continue my studies at Cirebon with department English education. They said to me that with majoring English education, you will get many job opportunities very much. After I heard about it, and then I chose it. I followed my advice’s old sisters.

            When I was in first course, l felt agonize. For me this is a foreign world. I must meet with English language every day, every times. Oh no, this is like a most nightmare that I ever got. Sometimes I often feel give up. Every day I never absent pray to my God so that he gives me many easiness. God ever made a promise to his servant that:

“Verily, after every difficulty there is relief”

            That verse is always make me strong. I always try to never give up. Alhamdulillah, I was getting many the easiness. Someday my lecturer gave me a task. He asked me to read an article and then I must make a review and make a comparison with my life. The article made me so inspired. That article title is “Barbara Can’t Write”. The article tells about Barbara’s experience that can’t write. She is a perfectionist woman, she can’t write since her age is fifteen until seventeen years old. She is very good only at grammar lesson and spelling. She always feels panic, when she gets a task to make an essay. She never gives up. She always studies hard, although she has no idea what to write and how to write.

            Someday her teacher gives her a task to make an essay, but Barbara can’t do it. She is overwhelmed by the pressure to get it right. She feels so be pathetic when she got the task. The situations also ever happen to me. When my lecturer asked me to speak, listen, read, and write (all English skill), I feel very afraid and so agonize. I think Barbara is still better than me. She is still has ability in grammar lesson and spelling, while I can’t all the parts of English language lesson. I begin study all the parts of English language with seriously, when I course with department English education.

            I think what happen to Barbara is still better than me. She still has a mother and teachers who always help her, when she was getting problems in this lesson. While, I don’t like her, I think my life is very not easy. For examples are, at my university, I often feel difficulty when I was getting some problems in my task. I don’t know where I have to go to as soon as possible get easiness in my task. I think in library I will get some easiness, but not always like that. When I was reading, and then sometimes can’t understand what the book mean is? After that, where I have to go? All my old sisters are not expert in English language lesson. They are only expert in engineer lesson, and my mother also same with their. So, where I have to go?

            I’m same with Barbara, every day the fear is always imprison my words, so that I can’t improve my skill English easily. But don’t worry I include a perfectionist woman, when I do anything I must get the best result. Every day, I always try to seek some solutions to help my problem. The solutions are sometimes I meet with my seniors to ask about my problem, I buy some book, I open Google translate and dictionary, and the last I always follow all advices of my lecturers well. Yeah, it’s my ways that always I do to find the best solutions in English language lesson.

            I really admire Barbara. She can fight against something that she doesn’t like. She never gives up although she gets failure. She never bored to seek ways that will help her. She always tries to be the best in all aspects. So at the end, she successfully gets all her wishes. She can be a professional writer. It’s so amazing experience. I think she is one of my inspirations so that I will get all my dreams. Barbara’s experience made me realized that I was also able as successful as her, because in this world is nothing impossible If we are serious to make it happen.

            Yeah, I will be like her, although I feel so tired to fight against all my thinking fear in this lesson. This lesson will never make me be a fail person in life. May be for this time, this lesson is still like my foreign world. But I believe this condition will not run long. I will always study hard so that I can change my foreign world become my passion world. With the only capital are support from my family, all easiness from my God, and my hard effort. I do believe I will get my passion world.

Mr. Albert Einstein also ever said that:

 "Success consists of 1% talent and 99% hard work"

        So keep be fighting Ria Nuralawiyah to get your passion world. Your passion world is to be a professional educator in English language lesson. Keep dreaming and reaching. Your passion world was waiting you to as soon as possible you get it right.
